My mom is a very skilled knitter, her talent far surpasses anything I could manage to create. She has an eye for designs and colors, and a real knack for choosing just the right fiber for the project. She knits hundreds of stitches across tiny needles to produce elegant shawls and delicate doilies. And she makes some beautiful baby blankets. Each one of my children is blessed to have a handmade blanket from their grandma to treasure forever.
